Colombia is set to welcome back the legendary British heavy metal band, Iron Maiden, after 12 years, as they confirm their highly anticipated return to the country as part of their “The Future Past Tour” world tour. The El Campin stadium in Bogota will be the stage for this grand event, scheduled for November 24, 2024.
With a musical journey dating back to their founding in 1975, Iron Maiden, led by Bruce Dickinson and Steve Harris, has established itself as an icon of heavy metal. Their announcement has stirred excitement among Colombian fans who eagerly await their return after their last performance in the country.
This new tour, titled “The Future Past Tour,” will kick off in Canada in mid-2024 and then land in the Colombian capital, where an unforgettable night filled with energy and the band’s powerful characteristic sound is anticipated.
Ticket sales are scheduled to begin on December 4, offering an initial exclusivity for Aval product clients. During this phase, prices will range from $149,000 to $559,000 (excluding service fees), and once this exclusive phase ends, sales will open to the general public.
“We’re thrilled to return and meet our incredible fans in Colombia and Mexico. Despite not having been in Colombia for a while, the memories of our previous visits have been truly memorable, and we are eager to return,” commented Steve Harris, bassis and band founder, during a press conference.
Ticket prices for different sections offer a variety of options for fans, ranging from $149,000 for Lower North to $559,000 for VIP Field, providing the opportunity to enjoy the show according to each attendee’s preferences.
Iron Maiden has left an indelible mark in Colombia, with previous performances at Simon Bolivar Park during their Somewhere Back in Time Tour in 2008, followed by The Final Frontier World Tour three years later, where almost 40,000 spectators vibrated to their music.
